We have had a focus on the feet this week. Exercises for the feet can help to keep them supple.
The feet are our foundation. Did you know that there are 3 arches in the human foot and these enable us to walk long distances and are great shock absorbers? The intrinsic muscles in the foot support the arches and help us to move our toes. Keeping our feet moving, wiggling our toes, spreading them wide and stretching them out can keep them mobile and strong.
And now that the weather is a bit warmer I am going a bit more barefoot ... walking in my garden to find out what and if there are any benefits to 'grounding' and rooting my feet to the earth. I'll let you know!
