Pilates and Yoga for Cyclists
The benefits of including Pilates and/or Yoga in your cycling training can help to improve:
Body Awareness and Position Sense
Mobility and Flexibility
It can also contribute to your recovery post ride and improve your performance.
The exercises will develop your core without keeping you in a flexed position because cyclists can be prone to a kyphotic posture and become tight in the thoracic area of the spine.
Wouldn't it be nice to feel worked, lengthened, mobilised and lengthened?
I will be running a 6 week block of classes for cyclists in 2022 please get in touch if you are interested in coming along.
